Installation Note

The MAP sensor is mounted to the rear of the factory intake elbow on these applications. Since the original intake elbow is replaced during installation, inspect the MAP sensor for soot buildup and check its condition before reinstalling it. Sensor replacement is not automatically required, but cleaning or replacement may be appropriate if contamination has affected its pressure or temperature readings.
