The Sonnax heavy duty input shaft comes with durability and performance features which are second to none. Instead of the OE two-piece shaft/hub design, this Sonnax shaft uses a much stronger, one-piece design that combines the input shaft and forward clutch hub, eliminating the weak connection between the two. The TCS 2-piece billet input shaft is designed for higher HP engines and is made for performance Dodge diesel applications. Made from 300 maraging steel, this shaft is heat treated to withstand high stress and torsional loads. Shaft to hub splines have been increased to 35 spines for 25% more surface contact than the OE version. This shaft is precision ground at all critical diameters and is tested to 2,700 ft/lbs of torque. The TCS 2-piece billet input shaft comes with Goerend lube modifications.
The TCS 2-piece aermet billet input shaft has been precision ground at all critical diameters and is designed for engines with over 900 horsepower and is made from aermet 100 high strength, fracture resistant steel. Its hub splines have been increased to 35 for 25% more surface contact than the OE version.
